What is a good acft score?

ACFT (Army Combat Fitness Test) was created to replace the previous Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) and assess soldiers' functional fitness and readiness for combat. A good ACFT score varies depending on a person's gender, age, and military occupational specialty. However, some general guidelines for a good ACFT score are:

  • Scoring 60 points or above in each event (strength deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, leg tuck, and two-mile run).
  • Meeting or exceeding the minimum passing scores for their age and gender.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in all components of the test, including strength, power, endurance, and agility.

It is important for soldiers to train regularly and focus on improving their overall physical fitness to achieve a good ACFT score and ensure they are prepared for the physical demands of their military duties. Additionally, regular assessment and monitoring of progress are essential to track improvements and set achievable fitness goals.
